Arvind K. Vij
Founder, Director & CEO, Illuminati

Arvind brings over 14 years of in-house experience with JPMorgan in Singapore, Mumbai, and New York, specializing in legal, compliance, and corporate secretarial services. As Managing Director & General Counsel for Offshoring & Outsourcing, he led global legal and compliance support for JPMorgan’s service centers in India and the Philippines and served as Global Head of Legal Entity Management, overseeing governance, regulatory reporting, and corporate infrastructure for 15,000+ entities worldwide.

A globally accomplished lawyer, Arvind has extensive expertise in corporate, commercial, project finance, outsourcing, and legal entity management. He has successfully set up offshore Centers of Excellence, streamlined legal processes, and built high-performing teams across diverse geographies, including the US, UK, India, Singapore, and the Philippines.

Before JPMorgan, Arvind practiced law at Drew & Napier, Milbank Tweed, and Pillsbury Winthrop, gaining expertise in corporate law, project finance, and securities. Qualified to practice in New York, England & Wales, and Singapore, Arvind’s vision for Illuminati is to provide flexible, client-focused, and economical legal solutions by leveraging global talent in cost-efficient locations.

Rajesh Narain Gupta, Senior Advisor

Rajesh Narain Gupta is a seasoned expert in corporate and transactional matters, specializing in banking laws, real estate, commercial laws, and private client practice. A pioneer in succession and estate planning in India, he has advised numerous banks, financial institutions, corporates, and real estate entities. Rajesh played a key role in implementing the SARFAESI Act, 2002, and was a special invitee by the Indian Banks’ Association and Reserve Bank of India for amendments to the Banking Regulation Act, 1949.

An accomplished author and speaker, Rajesh has co-authored books on banking laws and contributed to leading legal publications. As Managing Partner of SNG & Partners, he has worked closely with Arvind Vij and serves as a senior advisor to this initiative.

Nitin Agarwal, Advisor

 Nitin Agarwal has been in the Banking and Finance Industry since 1999. Within every sector in Banking, Nitin has made a formidable contribution in either reviving his employers & competitive position or elevating it to greater heights. He has extensive domain expertise in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking. Whether it is Private Equity Syndication, Mergers & Acquisitions or Structured Finance, Nitin has established strong professional relationships across industry verticals.
An MBA in Finance, Nitin has worked in the past with leading multinational bankssuch as HSBC and Citibank at various positions and has diverse experience in Banking and Finance.

Pipli Datta, Vice President- Business Manager

Pipli has worked in the private wealth management and investment banking lines of businesses with JPMorgan Services India Private Limited for 8 years. After successfully transitioning to the legal arena with a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the Government Law College, Mumbai, she has been associated with Wadia Ghandy & Co. and Veritas Legal while working in the field of corporate commercial law. Pipli has also practiced under the supervision of experienced advocates in the field of litigation, especially personal laws and trusts at Bombay High Court, District and Sessions Courts, and the Family Courts of Mumbai and Thane. Pipli’s diverse work experience has helped her to build an expansive network across corporate circles and the legal fraternity.
